Single Stream Recycling

Delran is among the many towns across the country to have moved to a single stream recycling program, along with San Francisco, Denver, Philadelphia, Dallas and many others.  Now you can simply place all your recyclable items together in the same container, and sorting will be done at the recycling facility.

This program is designed for maximum participation, and has led to a much higher rate of recycling in the areas it has been implemented, as people no longer have to think as much about what they are throwing into the bin.  That being said, there are still many materials that may seem recyclable but are not.  Click the link below to see a list of what should and should not be placed in the bins.

Hunters Glen Bingo Night!

Last week, we held Bingo for the second time at Hunters Glen.  About 50 people showed up to play and we all had a great time!
Prizes ranged from gift cards to Shoprite, Target and CVS to a Snuggie, a sandwich press, Dunkin Donuts coffee and a frog-shaped cookie jar.
We are planning on holding Bingo every other month.  Everything is free to our residents and their guests, and we also invite the local Senior Citizens group in Delran.
So, we hope to see you at our next Bingo in October.  And next time, I swear I will take some pictures!
