Pool Aerobics for Senior Citizens

We had our first pool aerobics class on Wenesday, July 22nd.

Just a handful of Senior Citizens showed up, but they all had a great time!  We got very good feedback and expect even more people to show up for the next class as the word of mouth is sure to spread.  Our Pool Manager, Mike, designed the aerobics program and was the class teacher.

These classes will be every Wednesday, from 10AM to 11AM, until the pool closes for the season.  Be sure to check it out!

Pool Party

The Pool Party last Saturday was great!  The turnout was fantastic, with over 300 residents showing up and enjoying the free food and the pool. We even ran out of hot dogs and hamburgers and had to run to the store to get more!

Hunters Glen Blood Drive A Success

Hunters Glen held a Blood Drive on Monday and it was a big success!

The Red Cross came around noon to start setting up in the catering hall downstairs. They set up 4 donating beds and I was first in line to give blood at 2PM. Everything went smoothly, and by the time I was finished, all the beds were occupied by blood donors! There was a steady stream of people all day, and at the end of it all, the Red Cross had collected 28 pints of blood!

Thanks to A Touch of Class by Candlelite for letting us use the room for this event! And thanks to everyone who came by to give blood, we really appreciate your charitable act.

Hunters Glen Bingo Night!

On Tuesday, April 14th, Hunters Glen held a free Bingo night in the catering hall below the office. Everyone had a blast, and we want to thank everyone who came out! Prizes included gift cards to Shoprite and Target, bags of Dunkin Donuts coffee, movies, books of stamps, a clock shaped like an apple(Congrats Rosie!), and much more.

We will definitely be doing it again soon!

Relay for Life meeting

There will be an informational meeting for the Relay for Life event held tonight, Monday, March 16th at 7:00PM at the Hunters Glen Front Office - Downstairs in the catering hall.

Here you will be able to learn about the event and also sign up to participate, and do your part to help the American Cancer Society take on cancer!
